(Received this day at 8 a.m.) MELBOURNE, Dec. 29
Mrs Lola Simpson, aged 20, had her lucky day yesterday when after falling 3CO feet from Leura Look-out, in the Blue Mountains she escaped with a ricked ankle. The woman today is suffering severely from shock and is unable to say what caused her fall. Police and ambulance men descended by long ropes to the bottom of the ravine, a perilous task, where they found 'Mrs Simpson huddled on a ledge. They had to carry her three miles through scrub to Ivatoomba hospital.
Works Act and Rabbit Nuisance Act, are consolidation Acts. Acts providing for the registration of music teachers, opticians and surveyors also come into force on Tuesday next.
