Tho Railway Department advertises in this issue particulars of train arrangements in connection with Tmttine Races at Greymouth on 4th. and sth. January. There was steady rain yesterday which commenced early, and continued at intervals during the day, heavy rain continuing last night. This morning though there was only a misty rain falling the prospects for the day were not favourable for the opening day of the Grey Jockey Club’s meeting.
