HIGH COMMISSIONER’S WINDOW

LONDON, November 13

Many people who pass along the Strand are constrained to examine the Imperial 800 Honey display in the High Commissioner’s window. This has as a central figure as amusing model of a bee—“-Imperial Bee, Esq.” —who is continually engaged picking out from a ease certain cards on which are printed edifying statements regarding the quality of the New Zealand produce. Between whiles ho rolls his eyes and turns his head to the amusement of all who sire’ attracted bv Jiis antics.

The whole window, however, is attractively decorated. It has as a background a painting of a fruit or bee farm. On both sides is green trellis work amply' decorated with pink flowers. On a grass base are pyramids constructed from the jars of Imperial Bee Honey.

That the placards displayed by the electrified figure arc arresting is proved by the fact that people remained to lead the whole series. They learn, for instanc'd, that Imperial Bee Honey is “an energising food,” that it “does not harm the teeth,,” that it “ will make and keep you lit, - ’ that it is Na Hire's own food— all nutriment,” that it is “ a food which is all food,” and that it is “the essence of summer sunshine.
