Thereafter Senator King attempted i move to take up the Treaty a.s a substitute' for the Dill; upon which a 'cueral unroar arose, and the close of he Executive Session was moved to irevont a fight. Chairman Hale is expected to renew lis motion to-morrow, and the fight will continue unless peace is arranged ivernight. which is not considered pro>able. RATFTCATION predicted. WASHINGTON. Dee. 18. Senator Moses’ resolution was retorted without recommendation. Tt is disclosed that President Cooldge feels the treaty has enough lYiendh n the Senate to obtain ratification without resolutions or reservations. Senator Moses and his supporters Man to modify the resolution for its ircsciitation to the Senate.
