AMUSEMENTS.

EVERYBODYS PICTURES. ‘ ‘THE L( )YELORN’ ’ -TO-NIGHT. According to a very wise man, the average person .spends one-third of his or her life sleeping, one-third wonting, and one-third eating and thinking about love. Tins may he an exaggeration, but there is no doubt that nearly everybody is keenly interested in their own and everybody else’s love affairs. So much so, that there has come into being a group of people on this all important and fascinating subject. by conducting “advice to those in love” columns in the daily newspapers. Included' in this group—and undoubtedly the ablest of them all —is to be found in .\Jiss Beatrice Fairfax, who for fifteen years has been learning, and in turn instructing others, about love. 1-rom tlie depths of her experience she has written “The Lovelorn,” her iir.st motion picture story, a vivid romance of real life which comes to the Princess Theatre on Wednesday night, ft is a story so true that every girl who views it can see a bit of herself as the heroine, and every man and woman can look back over their own life and recall incidents such as our portrayed on the screen, ft is a picture of heart appeal that is as rare as the acting ability displayed by the players. “The Lovelorn’- is a Metro-Goklwyn-Mnyer picture directed by John P. McCarthy of “Becky” fame, with Sally O’Neil and her sister, Molly O’Ray, playing the leading roles. A scenic, topical, and comedy will also lie shown to-night. On Friday next Zane Grey’s great story “Nevada” will be presented.
