An innkeeper named Hnbleitinger partly strangled a 17-ycars-old girl in the forest near (inmnd and hanged her from a branch of a tree with her feet a yard from the ground to suggest suicide. After he had gone the rope broke and the girl recovered consciousness. Her friends and the police waited with her until Ilableitinger returned home in the moonlight. He went raving mad when lie saw her and was bound and carried to prison.
