MINISTER DEGRADED
DECISION IN REV. ORB’S CASE (United press Msm ialmn-- By Lied! a Telegraph— Copyright). (Received this day at 8 a.m.) VANCOUVER. Dec. 15. Revil Orr lias been formally deposed and degraded from office a* a Christian Minister, by a special commission id the Presbyterian Church of Canada, which met on Saturday. Ibe 'Commission held that the judgment in the Fleck divorce case was fully warranted. It declares that a congregation meeting under Orr is not a congregation of .the Presbyterian Church. The congregation of Hie Central Presbyterian Church lias been relieved of Hie payment of Rev On’s stipend. Orr was absent when the judgment was read. Following the decision, the Independent congregation formed by Rev. Orr, met and passed a. unanimous vote < confidence in Hie Minister and fix-/ Ins stipend at £SOOO a year. Commissioner AFcEacliern doscrilied Hie case as a terrible moral tragedy.
