There is considerable anxiety regardtile tale of .1 ohii Smith, British Consul at Amoy. Il is supposed that he left Shanghai on llm vessel Chinhai for Amoy. 11 is now reported he is not aboard. Surgeon Lieut. Scott, stationed on 11. M. S. Cricket, has been missing since Friday, lie adtlended a party at a local cabaret- and has not been seen since.
