Weld Street was gravelled from Revel I to Sewell Sets, about two hundred loads quit oil. Extension of Roilos ton St. near Fairlie’s gravelled. Crossings in Revel I St. and a portion of Se"eil St. footpath between Stafford and Hampden St. were cleaned and gravelled. Hampden S. near the railway crossing was chipped and gravelled. Three chains of curbing were put down at the corner of Sab and St afford Sts. at Gooch’s corner, and the footpath gravelled. Crossings, were put down at Kellqr’s corner, toe Bank' of New Zealand comer and two in Weld St. at Lloyd’s comer of tin* right-of-wav between Perry's store and Lloyd’s. Growth cut in front of Carter’s corner of .Park and Sale Sts. ' Drains—-I chain of Gin. pipes was 'aid in Gi'son’s Quay at Brvais.'s.

Water A serious break in the pipe line on Slip Hill on 7th. occurred, several pipes carrying away and were repaired the fullowing day. -New washers were nut on [ire plugs which were leafing badly, and various leaks alioiil, town and on the pipe loie were repaired.
