BOMBAY RIOT
STRIKERS CLASH WITH POLICE. (United Press Association- By Electric Telegraph—Copyright). DELHI, Doeenilier 13. Three Dalian constables and six strikers were* killed in Bombay, in a clash between the police and cotton mill strikers. Incited by labour leaders, an infuriated mob of thousands marched the streets and attacked a small picket ol European and Indian police, who, outnumbered, were compelled to lire, but were overwhelmed. They were beaten lo death, and thirty were seriously injured. The city is panic-stricken, and patrolled by armed police. All the mills are closed.
