LONDON. Dec. 11
“Back to Boadieea” describes the latest British sporting enterprise, namely a chariot racing greyhound track at Carntync, Glasgow, which has been converted into an amphitheatre. Each race is of four laps, the drivers and vehicles doing released from cages. There will be six events—two between four horse chariots and the remaining four two horse chariots.
The promoters have given the drivers a retaining fee, and the winners receive £2 apiece.
Belting will lie permitted. AYitnesses of the trials declare that the thrills will eclipse dirt track racing.
