ENRAGED ITALIANS

ATTACK A EXTR A RIANS. (Australian Press Association) (United Service.) SYDNEY, Dec. 10. A .sensational racial ene, junior between Australians and Italians at the Leelon Irrigation Settlement resulted in live Australians -Hyde, Wilson. Dunn. O’Grady, and Curtis, receiving injuries from stilettos, or razors. The police state that all the men had he-eii drinking in a local hotel, when it is alleged that an Australian exclaimed: “Dancy having to drink with dagoes.’’ The remark was resented hv the Italians, who shouted excitedly and brandished razors and other weapons. They tlnn attacked the Australians, who scattered in all directions. Wilson sustained an abdominal wound, Tlyde an ugly cut in the neck, and others minor cuts. The police arrested Michele Oasin. and other arrests are pending.
