“AUSSIE” ARRESTED
FOR SHOOTING A BIRD. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright). LONDON, December 10. While journeying in a motor car from Dundee, southward, T. B. Guest, described as holding an important, position in Melbourne, indulged in a little illegitimate shooting in passing Lord Penoliyn’s estate, at Bettswycoer. Guest was arrested for shooting a bird. He pleaded he had a gun license and beleivcd lie had a right to shoot game from the highway. Guest’s solicitor told the Magistrate that rabbit shooting was encouraged in Australia. It would be a pity il he returned home branded ns a poacher. The Magistrate accepted the plea ol ignorance, and fined Guest £1 and costs.
