LATE LOCALS.
A warning is issued by the Traffic Inspector (Mr A. J. Sloss) to cei-tain motorists on the West Coast, who are in the habit of occupying more than their fair share of the road when passing other vehicles, and who fail to reduce speed to the 15 miles poi lioui required for passing vehicles. Offenders will not he given any furthei friendly warnings, but, on detection, will find themselves brought into Court, An accident happened this morning during loading operations aboard the Zingara whereby Mr A. J. Sumner was injured. A sling of timber had been landed on the dock, and when tlit strain was loosened portion of the timber fell outwards, across Mr Sumner who was crushed about the legs. He was taken to the doctor who reported no bones were broken, but several ligaments were injured. which would necessitate his laying up for some time.
