Queensland in the first innings made F2B—McCombe 36, Peachey 38. Freeman taking 8 wickets for 32 and Geary 1 for 30. England in the first innings lost 6 for 127—Sutcliffe 77, Tyldeslev lid, Hammond 110. England scored 42/ in 197 minutes. Coo[K>r took one wicket for 78, Broad foot 1 for 88, Drews 2 for 90, Bluxland 1 for 47.
