The United Press was informed today the question was raised after intimations at tin* State Department that an opportunity might develop within next year for further naval conversations between United States and Britain. Official would not commit themselves regarding the likelihood ol the opportunity actually developing into a conference. A written outline of Britain’s general attitude would lie in,si sod upon to correct the weakness which proved fatal to Qonlidge’s 1027 Geneva Conference, for the failure of which British and American ollicials blamed each other. American ollicials now concede that a lack of understanding, prior to tin* conference, contributed most to the collapse.
