Sir Kenneth Douglas, was subject to a running lire of questions at the adjourned nicotine; of creditors in the bankrupt estate of Leslie Johnson, advertising agent. o! Upper Unit. The subject of the crossexamination. was largely confined lo linancial relations hetween bankrupt and witness in a number of business ventures. At the conclusion of the meeting the following resolution was carried. ‘•That Sir Kenneth Douglas' claims as a creditor, whether secured or unsecured, he not admitted until the solicitors for’the Official Assignee have recommended their admission. Sir K. Douglas, complaining of the heckling nature of the cr is.s-exan.iina-Uon made a reservation that all his statements at the meeting were made subject to documentary confirmation-.
