DELEGATION TO RUSSIA

(Received this day at 8 a.in.) SYDNEY, Dec. 8. The Australian Workers Union contemplate sending a delegation to Russia to ascertain the truth about Soviet rule and conditions.
METAL TRADE TROUBLE
(Received this day at 8.30. a.m.) SYDNEY, December 8.
Trouble is looming in the metal trades in Sydney. Employees, under instructions of their unions are refusing to work overtime, whereby contracts are unfulfilled or delayed. The employers are irritated and have warned the men that they will take drastic actions if the awards are not.obeyed.
PEACE CONFERENCE
-MELBOURNE, December 8
The Peace in Industry Conference settled down to work. Sir Arthur Duckham and Sir Hugo Hirst, two of the big four, were again present and gave addresses.
