Among the many congratulations which Mr Herbert C. Hoover will receive on being elected President of the United States, will he one from the Ohinemuri County Council. At a meeting of the council to-day the chairman. Air IT. AL Corbett, mentioned that Air Hoover had been in Karangaliake for a short period about thirty years ago as n representative of Buiek. Aloreing and Company. The meeting derided to communicate with Mr Hoover congratulating him on his elect ion.
