TO AIR BRITTEN’S PROPOSAL

WASHINGTON. November 3

Air Britten has received a personal cablegram from Air Baldwin in reply to his limitation suggestion, the contents of which lie will announce to-mor-row before a full meeting of the House 1 Naval Committee. Mr Britten said: 41 The message is about two hundred* words long and is in the kindliest spirit.” Representative Laguardiu suggested holding such a conference, hut he is arranging for the same through diplomatic channels, rather than appealing direel to Mr Baldwin.
