Some little time ago M.r Soddon interested himself in the filming of the |{mist Pass route to bring that locality more under the public notice. Advice Ims just been received from the Prime Minister’s office that the Publicity Officer has the matter in hand, and films will be taken of the district some time during the summer months. -Mi Soddon also preferred a request 'for the Franz Josef and Fox Glacier regions to be cinematograplied also, and the Minister advises that though a complete tour might not he taken, at all events a sufficiently comprehensive picture will be obtained to give wide publicity to the localities referred to. Mr Seddon lias expressed satisfaction with the nature of the replies received.
