EVERYBODYS PICTURES,

WOLF FAX OS ” TO-NIGHT

"Thunder.” the newest doji; disrovory, whose work in "Wings ol the Storm ” created such a sensation lasi year, has added new honors to his name through his performance in " Wolf Fangs,” his second starring vehicle for Fox .Films which tviil he shown at the Princess Theatre to-night. Thunder more than lives up to , h s reputation as a dog with almost human intelligence and understanding. Mis reactions to every situation are spon taneous and true and the way in which he leads the other dogs a maxes every member of the audience. The story is well suited to the dog in every respect. It deals with the novel situation of a puppy lost among the wolves and raised as one of their pack. 'lllrough his , superior intelligence he becomes tlieii 'Meador and incidentally a great menace to the flocks of the sheep men who come To the forest to graze each sum- ] miir, - The. manner in which 'I blinder civilized ’ ihstim-tS ‘assert themseives .and force-Ivim.-td iurrpngainV -hj-sipuck is the high point of the story. Supporting Thunder are a trained cast ol flogs,.-and ft. pack-; of wolves which pinvide- most of the'thrilling moments in the-picture. Charles .Morton, a newcomer to thd screen, floes some wry line work', his dramatic talent winning the audience from the first flash on the screen. Carvl Lincoln gives a splendid performance in the role ol the abused niece ot Hill Clarside, a role t'picted -by- .James Cordon, who portrays the part in his usual finished manner. Frank' Mice at id his dog .Mutt prov'de the comedy in a very clever nianuei. The first hair-raising chapter of tienew serial, ‘ ‘Whispering Smith Rides,” which was shown last week, was cn titled "Lawless Men.” It should have been titled "Too Late.” for there seems to he little hope for the pretty heroine. Hose Hlossom. who was thrown from the runaway backboard and dash cd against a tree, in .spite of The plienMUKjnal speed of Wallace MacDonald,, the dashing: hero.: on his, doubly dashing steed. ”. Never has, there been a movie serial in which the noble .youth did not marry the pretty girl n't the last reel, hut there always has to he a first time and this may he it. Hut perhaps the miraculous hand ot hate bps iii 'some way ; Intercepted, death'. The second episode'which will he shown to-night at the Princess Theatre wil’ tell the tale. This chapter is headed by the ominous title, "Caught m the Crash,” which -bodes ill for some luckless member of the east which includes in addition to MacDonald and Hose Jilossom. J. P- Al.cCow.an, .Henry He-. liert, W. M. McCormick, Nelson MacDowell, Wilie Fung and Dick La Heno
