WHANG All El, Nov. 23. Subsequent to the recount of Bay of Islands votes it was discovered that a parcel of six absentee votes bad been overlooked. One of these was recorded as informal, three, went to Beil and two to Ihisliworth making both 3839.

The Returning Officer then gave bis casting vote in favour of the sitting member, Bell.
