CURED OF CANCER “We know there is a power in the body—what it is we do not yet know— l which can, in favourable circumstances, cure cancer, even when the surgeon’3 knife has failed. That is a very hopeful feature.” This statement was made by Dr F. W. Eurich, at a meeting in connection with the Bradford Cancer Week. Dr Eurich instanced a proposed operation upon a woman for cancer, where it was found that there were literally hundreds of tumours all over her body. The surgedn, therefore sewed the body up again without operating. And the woman recovered. No X-rays were applied; no medicine was given; she did not alter her diet in any way; no prayers were eaid over her. Four years later she was operated upon again for an obstruction, and it was then found that all the old tumours had disappeared. In that case the body fought against and killed the cancer enemy. If people kept their bodies in good health the microbe of cancer—if there was one—or whatever the cause might be, would have little, if any, chance of attacking the body and taking root there.
