ADOiNGTOM STOCK SALE.

CHRISTCHURCH, Nov. 21. The following was the range of prices at Addington Stock Sales to-day: Beef—A medium entry of 188 head of steers were in the minority, and a little dearer than last week. The mar.ket was irrdgu'lar. Steers: 'Heavy realised £2O to £23, prime £l7 to £l9, medium £l3 and £IG 10s. light £ll to £l2 10s; cows’, heavy £ll 10s to £ls 15s, medium £9 to £ll, light £U 5s to £8 ss; heifers, prime £l2 10s to £ls 15s, medium £9 10s to £ll 10s. others £7 10s to £8 15s. Store cattle—Keen competition for two-year steers, which made £4 to £/ 9s. Cows at late rates, Fat sheep.—A total entry of 7500. Prices were fairly consistent, at a slight rise on late rates. Kxtra heavy shorn wethers made up to 40.5, prime 36s Gd to 38s lOd, medium 31s to 355, plain 29s to 30s Gd, medium in the wool up to 50s lOd; ewes, heavy to 38s Id, prime 33s to 35s Gd, medium 30s to 32s Gd, plain 25s Gd, and 295; ewes in wool to 47s 1 Oct. Lambs—An entry of 718, with a satisfactory sale throughout, at late rates. Best realised 35s to 36s 7d, good 82s to 34s lOd, medium 29s to 31s, light 27s Id to 28s lOd. Store sheep—A good entry with fair competition Good wethers made up to 275. breeding ewes in wool with lamb at foot 18s Gd to 225, all counted dry owes 26s to 365. shorn wethers 21s to 23s Gd, nondescript lots 17s Gd to 19s Gd. Pigs—There was a heavy yarding in the pork section. The sale was irregular. with a medium entry of bacon, there being a slight improvement on late rates. Choppers realised 37s Gd to C 5 3s, light porkers 30s to 355, medium 37s to 455, heavy 46s to 525, light baconers £3 to £3 5«, medium £3 7s Gd to £3 15s. heavy £3 10s to £4 5s Stores—same as last week.
