BOMB OUTRAGE,

Another bomb outrage occurred when the ground floor of William Swinton’s home was wrecked early to-day. A hole of three feet was torn in the floor and a door sixty feet away, was blown out. The furniture was wrecked. Four occupants on the upper floor escaped injury. SYDNEY WOOL SALES. SYDNEY, Nov. 21. At the wool sales there was an active market, and strong general competition. A total of 2,127 bales were sold. Greasy merino made 30),d. NORWEGIAN CONSUL. SYDNEY, November 22. Obituary.—Olav Pauss, Consul for Norway, aged 65 years. He was an outstanding figure in shipping circles as agent for the Norwegian-Australian Line. A SERIOUS FIRE. SYDNEY, Nov. 22. A fire at Church Point, Pittwater, on (the coast of North Sydney, -destroyed a general store, the post office, refreshment rooms, a bank, a garage, and several t-ars, a launch and forty boats. The damage is estimated; at thousands sterling. A curious feature of the blaze was that it was first noticed by a resident on the opposite side of the Bay, wh'ose telephone inquiries led to the discovery. Locally no water was available. j INFLUENZA EPIDEMIC. ! SYDNEY, Nov. 22. An epidemic in a virulent form of pneumonic influenza in the Licton irrigation area is causing 'grave concern. The Government has been asked to send medical and nursing assistance.
