He succeeded later. -Hurley savs the passage tbr'"-"- 1 ' the Persian Gulf was a most trying ordeal, consisting of fighting sandstoims. Hurley readied Baghdad two hours ahead of time. The aerodrome is deep in mud and slush, and lie will have to wait till the sun bakes the surface before he is able to depart. Had he not been bold up in Persia be would have escaped the despicable weather encountered.
