The State Miipstrv lengthily diseus.sed the position arising from their defeat in the Assenihly. and decided to refer the position to the State Parliamentary Party, it is understood the Cabinet will suggest asking for a dissolution .and if the Government does not agree it he recommended that the -Ministry resign. In the latter event, it is understood Air .McPherson is prepared to undertake the formation of a composite Government of Nationalists and Country Party.

At the Marine Hoard inquiry into the stranding of the steamer Morinda on Didel Reef, the master was censured for insufficient caution in bad visibility.
