LONDON, Nov. 18
The Manchester Guardian Belgrade correspondent states: Despite a rigid censorship, a local newspaper learns from Sofia that Vantelia Mihailof, who became the undisputed head ol the Oomitadiis, by murdering his rival, General Protogerofi. continues a policy of securing obedience by exterminating opponents. The inhabitants ol the Petr itch and Tehiistendil districts therefore petitioned the Government to intervene. Mihailof. however, secured the names of one hundred of the leading petitioners, and he then ordered their immediate execution. The majority of them (led to the mountains. where they were hunted down like animals'. Eloven ( omitadji Coinmil icemen who re i used to take an oath of allegiance to Mihailof were sentenced to death. Six of them were shot at dawn. The others escaped, hut they were hunted and massacred.
