GOVERNOR TO BE RE ELECTED

RUGBY, November 16. The Court of Directors of the Bank of England agreed to recommend to the proprietors in April next that the Right Hon. Montagu Norman be reelected governor for the year ensuing. Mr Norman will thus be re-elected for his tenth consecutive year ol governor- . Mp , an event without precedent. Until a few days ago, Sir Ernest Musgrave Harvey, who is to he elected deputy-governor, filled the position of comptroller of the bank.
