(Received this day at 10 a.m;) LONDON, November 16. Derby Cup.—Constant Son 1, Westwicklow 2, Lordland 3. Fifteen started. Won by two lengths and four lengths. DISTRICT COMMITTEE. At a meeting of the Greymouth District Committee held yesterday afternoon, the Westland Racing Club’s pro-' gramme for December 26th and 27th was duly approved. The AA T ellington Racing Club wrote advising that Leo. A. Young, had applied for a jockey’s license, and asking iff there was anything against him.—lt was' decided to reply that while the Committee had nothing on record against Young, they could not recommend him for a license. The i\.Z. Racing Conference asked whether it was possible for them to recommend a renewal of the tin co months’ conditional jockey’s license held by A. E. J. AJcAlullan.-It was agreed to recommend a renewal. Edward Tonkin (Richmond), .Tames Riley (Greymouth), J- T. Cameron anc George Holly (Hokitika) were - approvedof for trainer’s license. An application ny Edward Moran (Ivaramu) for a jockey’s license was not recommended.
