CROSSING SMASH
ONE KILLED, SEVERAL INJURED

BLENHEIM, Nov. 15
A fatal accident occurred at Broad-way-railway crossing, Picton, at (eleven o'clock this morning, the Blenheim to Picton train running into n motor ear driven by Aliss B. E. Chaytor, containing Airs J. K. Hannah, who is the wife of the manager of the Bank of New Zealand, at Picton, Airs Latter, of Picton. and Aliss Tv. Hurstlmiise. of Wellington. The car was overturned. Airs Hannah, aged about 50. was killed instantly. Aliss Chaytor sustained nasty leg injuries, Aliss Hurst house received several bruises and is suffering from shock and is in the hospital with Aliss Chaytor. Airs Latter escaped more or less without injury.
