After President Doumergue consulted for several days with the leadeis olf all parties, he lastly conferred with At. Poincare for one hundred minutes to-day. at the conclusion of which M. Poincare was enabled to point out that he is still of opinion that the Government- must ho a coalition of the lai gist parties, but the Socialist-Radical Congress at Angres showed that they failed to appreciate the necessity of a National Government. He would endeavour, however, to form a Government inspired by true R (, pu '- lican principles. M. Poincare wninid the country that if resistance to the Parliamentary Finance Committee continued, notably upon the naval and military estimates, no Government would last longer than a few weeks.
