The motion of thanks and confidence passed in Air Seddon at AVaitalia on Thursday was moved by Air Jas. Davidson and seconded hv AM - J. Cropper, and was carried unanimously.
A'cstorday Air Seddon travelled from Afatainui via Okarito to AVaiho Gorge where he spoke at night. He had a good meeting. Air Louis Gibb was in the chair. Air Seddon was able to convey the good news officially that the material for the rebuilding of the AYaikukupn bridge in iron-bark and with steel girders would soon bo in hand. All the plant and material were now in AVellington, and was being despatched at once. He was able to explain fully, also, the extension of the Great South Rond into Otago, of which AVaiho Gorge was the gateway. The address was received excellently. and thanks and confidence accorded on the motion of AH Peter Graham, seconded by Air Jas. Green. Air Seddon is due at Harihari tonight and returns to Greymouth tomorrow.
