Dr Wicken was at once phoned tor itrom Alexander and he at once set out, picking up Mr \V. Morris, Tppei llroadway, who knows the country well, to guide him over the hill. On arrival there he at once advised the sufferer’s removal to the hospital, and at (> a.in. on Friday a party started to carry Fanselow in a stretcher over the treacherous mountain, arriving at the 'Pair at Stevenson’s Flat about midday. and the sufferer was then brought into town by Air D. Twomey’s motoi and taken to the Hospital. Fa uselow’s arm is very badly crushed and ho has suffered a considerable loss of blood, hut we understand that Dr Wicken has great hopes of saving the injured limb.
