WIRELESS TELEPHONY

GISBORNE, Nov, 2
Ivan O’Meara this morning picked up ten metre wave length signals from the American station, cabled yesterday, from 8.15 to 10.30. The signals came through consistently and strongly, various messages being received without difficulty. Tests were made with variations of the angle of tile beam, some being more successful than others.

TIMAR U, Nov. 2
At the Supreme Court, Thomas Hart, and John Watson were found guilty of theft from a person, and (Were sentenced to reformative detention for a period liot exceeding two years.
