The following wire lias been received’ by .Mr Coates to-night, referring to a letter from Mr J. I). Holmes to lion. »T. A. Young: “ I beg on behalf ol the Directors of the Otorolmnga Gravel Company. Ltd., to deny all previous knowledge of, or responsibility tor, his action. We disassociate ourselves entirely from any attempt to influence the Government by means <>i threats, and strongly disapprove.
