A CANDIDATE. WAIPUKURAU, October 29. At a public meeting of supporters of the United Party of Waipnroa electorate held at Waipukurau on Saturday night, over 40 attending, those present unanimously decided to support E. A. CJoodger’s candidature. Goodger, who opens his campaign at Waipukurau on Wednesday, was mayor of the town for eight years, and a representative on many local bodies. He has a long record of public service.
