SYDNEY, October 28

Captain Hurley lias postponed the hop off oif bis plane Spirit of Australia for England until daybreak on Monday. This delay has been duo to (lie inability of Flying Officer Owens to go, lie being unable to obtain three months’ leave from the Air Force in order to join Captain Hurley’s crew as mechanic.

Correction.—Hurley is not leaving until dawn on Tuesday, owing to adjustments to the radio apparatus. Owens has resigned from the Air Force but the Air Board is demanding hree months notice. Hurley is complaining of off|cial (Coldness towards the flight.
