Hon. Andrew Fisher’s funeral took place under a grey autumn , sky. Fisher was interred at Hampstead Cemetery, there was no pomp nor pageantry. Revel. Chalmers I,yon. a local Presbyterian Pastor conducted a short service at Fisher’s home at South TTill Park in the presence of the family and a few friends. At the funeral there was a motor car laden with wreaths, including those sent by the Commonwealth Government, also Queensland and New Zealand Governments and peoples.
