At the Soldiers’ Hall yesterday, Mr S. Burnett White, general furnisher, of Greyniouth, opened out a very at- , tractive display of furniture and fur- ■: nishings, which will be on view lor the next few days, and of which inspection is invited. The goods are wel 1 arranged and fill the large hall in attractive style. They compose bedroom suites from £l6 10s; upholstered suites in moquet and painted velvet (threepiece suites from £l9 10s), carpets, rugs, runners, curtaining, eiderdown ■. quilts in endless variety, sideboards, lamp sthnds, and many other articles that will assist to make the home , beautiful.
The goods are there to be sold, and the prices have been fixed to ensure a rapid disposal of the high-class goods on view.
