The Commoner, Ellen Wilkinson, facing London’s most famous chefs and epicures at Grosvernor House dinner, prepared by world famous chefs, said; “ What women want to know is how to make light, quick; jpegls, without living entirely: on omelettes and tinned beans ; to ask why the healthiest people are bachelors of both sexes, who secretly eat light meals prepared by themselves. The chefs and epicures listened nervously, but, Mjss Wilkinson airtoned by keeping pace through an eight-course meal with obvious relish?
