At the request of several of the residents of Inter-Wanganui and Wataroa, districts, Mr Steddon M.P. has been interesting himself regarding the subsidy to be. paid by the Health Department for the medical officer to he established at Harihari. Mr Seddon gathers from the tone of replies that subject to certain conditions being in order, the subsidy asked for and so necessary for the purpose intended j will be granted ultimately.
