MESSAGE TO MARS

TO BE SENT ON WEDNESDAY

LONDON, October 20

The “ Daily Mail ” says that at the request of Mr Mansfield Robinson, a psychic investigator, and an ex-Town Clerk of Shoreditch, an attempt to communicate by wireless with the planet Mars, which will be then nearest to (lie earth, will be made on October 24fh with a message from Rugby on a 185 hundred metre wave length. The Post Office engineers will be listening in for any reply on a special receiving set at Saint Alban’s if tuned to a thirty-thousand-metre wave length, which, Mr Robinson believes, Mars uses. He will hand in a five-word message to the Central Radio Office at London, which will cost Is 6d per word. Robinson alleges that he is in telepathic communication with a woman inhabitant of Mars, who Has laid down the conditions of the experiment. He assumes that Martians understand the wireless process, though, not our words and that they will repeat the dots and dashes to the earth.

Martians can talk to Martians, by visualisation of objects as easily' as you can talk by Speech, Mr Robinson told the “ Star.” Moreover, he said, he had journeyed to Mars. “Myetheric body travelled at the speed of light. It was an amazing experience. I saw a huge red globe to which I approached, holding a guide’s hand.” He claims regular communication with Martians by a psycho motormer instrument resembling a slender maltese cross, balanced on an upright needle designed to measure a vital force linking up mind and matter, whereby he communicates with a woman guide, Comaruru, meaning a loved-one. He also says he secured photographs through the medium, including Momaruru’s features, resembling an Indian’s, but with enormous ears, over which hair is draped for the purpose of hiding the detriment to beauty.

Robinson adds: “rMomaruru is a loveable personality. The experiments are due to her insistence.” He asserted that Martian men average ninetytwo inches in height and women sev-enty-two. The race has the strongest physique and at least five-fold eneigy of humans. Martians possess motorcars and railways. They electrify frviit trees, enabling fruit- resembling an apple to contain all the constituents of nourishment. Three make a days, meal.
