Van Reerdon’s share of the gate money has been forfeited to the Lord Mayor’s fund. The stadium management examined Kid Socks. If they consider that he, too, was implicated, his share will also be withheld. Socks sails on the Moolton lor London tomorrow.
BISHOP RROD IE HONOURED
SYDNEY, October 19
A complimentary luncheon was given to his Lordship Bishop Brodie, of Christchurch, and formerly of Auckland, at Farmers’ Ltd, Sydney, today, by ex-students of St. Joseph’s College. Hunter’s Hill, Sydney. Bishop Brodie attended St. Joseph’s College in the years from 1885 to 1890, from which he matriculated.
