DUNEDIN, October 19.
For the Golf Championship, wintry conditions prevailed for to-day’s play in tbe final of tbe Professional Championship and tbe semi-final of the Amateur Championship. At the end of tbe first 18 holes, the position was—Professional Championship : A. J. Shaw 3 up on J. J. Mclntosh. •
Amateur Championship: K. Ross 3 up on T. H. Horton at tbe loth'(Spion Hop). Black was 1 up on Duncan.
Under tbe conditions the golf is wonderful. Shaw’s round was 73, Mcliin tosh 75, Ross /4, Horton /4.
