SERVICE AT CENOTAPH

RUGBY, Oct. 16. The celebration of Armistice Day, November 11, which falls this year on a Sunday, will follow tin* lines adopted in previous years.
Representative detachments of tin Rural Navy, Army, Air Force, mercantile marine and ex-service mcn’iassociations will march to the Cenota >h in the morning and there form a hollow square. Shortly before eleven o’clock the King will deposit a wreath don the Cenotaph. Wreaths will bo .laid on behalf of other members ol tlm Royal Family and on bolmlf ol "the British Government, the domin ’ions, India, the colonies and protectorates. Two minutes’ silence will b-r observed and a short service will follow.
An • official deputation bearing wreaths and the general public will lie marshalled into columns, moving from Whitehall towards Westminster, so tb.it they may dtposit wreaths on the Cenotaph as they pass, and arrangements will be made so that those win: so desire may pass through Westminster Abbey before the grave of the Unknown Warrior.
The ecclesiastical authorities have been asked to arrange that then church services sliall begin at-such an hour as may be convenient in ordei to ensure that there shall be everywhere a pause in the sevvice-at eleven o’clock, when silence will he observed in every place of worship. Road traffic will, as usual, be suspended during the two minutes’ silence.
