ADDINGTON STOCK SALE,
PRICES STEADY

Prices were mostly Unchanged ilf not slightly easier at to-day’s Addington live stock sale.
Beet.—There was a larger yarding n tins / section, and the quality was good. There was no quotable rise. Heavy steers sold at £l9 to £22 12s bd, prime £l6 10s to £lB 15s, medium £l4 os to £ls 15s, light £l2 15s to £ls 10s. Prime heavy heifers sold from £ls to £l6 10s, extra to £l7 ss. prime £l3 to £T4 ss, medium £9 10s to £lO 10s, light £7 15s to £8 ss. Heavy cows sold from £l4 10s to £l6 2s Od, extra to £l6 l"s 6d, prime £ll 10s to £l2 15s, medium £8 10s to £9 15s, others £5 os to £7 10s.
Fat Sheep.—There was a slightly smaller yarding, and prices were a shade firmer. Extra prime heavy wethers sold from 46s to 50s. heavy :! 3s to 455, medium 40s to 42s Op., light 36s to 39s 6d. Shorn- wethers sold from 26s to 37s lOd, prime heavy ewes to 44s 7d, heavy 36s to 40s, medium 28s to 355, plain 24s to 27s Od. Snorn ewes sold to 34s 7d.
Store Sheep.—There was a small yarding. The market was steady. Cross-bred ewe hoggets sold at 375, three-quarter bred hoggets 27s Od, crossbred failing-month ewes in lamb 34s 2d. Ewes and lambs were selling at late rates.
Pigs.—There was a large yarding of pork. Prices were on a. lower basis, There was a medium entry of bacon, and little change in values. Choppers sold from £2 to £5, unfinished porkers 29s to 335, medium 35s tm Ms, heavy 45s to 505,. extra to 50s. The average price was 5Vd to 0-Vd per lb. Light haeoners sold at £3 to £3 ss. me- 1
£3 6s to 03 P's, heavy £3 15s to £4 extra* to Cl 12s '3l. The average was Ojfd to 7icl per lb. Store pigs sold at an advance on late rates.
