SYDNEY, Oct. 18

Mathew Bigger who recently voluntarily sequestrated his estate and has been in a debtors’ prison, applied todav for a release from gaol to be examined in bankruptcy. He .said he followed the occupation of a bookmaker in Victoria. Now Zealand and Queensland under the name of Patrick Dalton. He had been identified with gaining houses on the continent. He denied that lie was not allowed to land in America, or that Tom Hecncy put up a guarantee for him. Bigger explained that Dr Bohrsmami had blamed him for losing £IO.OOO at Atlantic City in a syndicate whereby wires were to be tapped for race results. The Registrar ordered Rigger’s release from' custodv [lending a completion of the examination.
