Following is the result of the Captain v. Secretary team’s match, Captain’s team mentioned first.:—
Chesney beat Steel 7 and 5. Adamson lost to Partridge 5 and 4
Wilson beat O’Doherty 2 and 1
Macfarlane lost to-Cagney 2 down. Houston lost to Kortegast 3 and 2. Irwin beat Morris 4 and 3. Cooke beat Finerty 3 and 2. Anderson beat Caliari 6 and 5. Adams .lost to Murrell 4 .and 3; Nestor beat Gilpin 3 up. Dawson beat Morrison 2 and 1. Best and Baker all square. Captain 7 wins, Secretary 4 wins. One all square. The Club Championship resulted in an easy win for Chesney with Steel runner-up.

Professional championships—A. T. Shaw 2 up on E. S. Douglas; J. Mclntosh 3 \ip on J. A. Clements. In the amateur championship, C. B. Wight is 9 up on J. L. Black; C. E. Colbeck 1 up on J. D. Duncan; T. H. Horton 4 up on H. A. Black; K. Ross 10 up on A. G. Sime.
